Exellent with a little work needed

Great job! The animation, art, coloring, shading, ect. were nice, crisp and relatively smooth.

The fonts and visibility of the text could be worked on. Be careful of contrast with the background and the fonts.

The only other thing you could work on were the voiceovers. It was nice and clear but sounded a bit over the top. Perhaps too much yelling and the dialogue was poor.

Otherwise awesome job! Tweak out your next animation and it'll be sweet.

a sigh of relief

After watching the third episode, I thought the series was going to take a turn for the worse. However this one was much farther from trying too hard and much more random in an orginized way. The "hand job bars" scene was a little over the top, but amusing none-the-less. It was also nice to see some more music added to change the mood. Keep up the good work!

Interesting concept

It was quite an interesting concept. I liked the idea at the end with the blam and protect votes. The music fit appropriately and worked well with the concept.

The art was a bit lackluster with an overuse of gradients and a lack of added stylish effects to give things a more metal look. I liked the green liquid, it looked good and added some nice contrast to the series of grays and gradients used. You could have added with the machine concept and added more parts to it. I'd like to see more of an assembly line that could have worked with the music well. It has that "working man" kinda feel to it. The art at the end seemed thrown together compared to the rest of the movie.

It started off a bit slow which may have turned off some veiwers, though I'm glad I stuck around for the latter half.

Keep going with the good work and keep honing your skills!

Great work with a few bugs

Awesome job! The art and animation were placed well. The Sound and effects were top notch and well placed with the scenes. The humor was definitely well put. I really enjoyed the parts with random cameos.
The only room I seen for improvement was some of the effects you used were slightly lacluster and used a few too many gradients. The fonts were used badly with the color and didn't seem to fit right with your style of drawing. The buttons were slightly off and looked like you just threw them and the fonts in last minute. Also perhaps have a quality button or have the movie start off at medium/low quality because even on my higher end machine it lagged a bit.
However, keep up the good work, I'm eager to see other work by you!

Thanks for your review... really is a good review

Sorry, but that lacked substance

I understand that it was only a trailer, but you failed to even attempt at an effective one. It looked like you took your 3d animation, taking bits and pieces of whatever. And if you really rendered everything, why is there such an inconsistency between two of the renderings (namely the clock and the head) and everything else in the animation that looks like it was thrown together? Did you just really blow the rest of this off or something? Then the flash for your movie was atrocious. There was a small line animation and buttons that had no hit boxes and there was an included scene selection that did not even work. So why did you even include it? To be honest, anyone first picking up flash could animate text like you did. The music at least seemed fitting so I'll give you a good job on that. You say your an animator, but all I see is badly rendered 3D and a shabby flash work. Try again.

Im not a professional animator. I do this for fun in my spare time. Im sure i cant meet your high standards so maybe this wasnt intended for such an audience like yourself.

Very Ambitious

I must say, the more trailer type part in the start was really weak. The text was very bland, badly positioned and animated and did not captivate my intrest. Perhaps work on this part of your flash animation. Give it more the style of the rest of your movie. Thankfully I watched the rest of the movie, because the animation was great, the style was refined, effects were gorgeous and on cue, and worked together beautifully. The only other thing I say you should work on is the placement of your music if you're heading in a soundless direction.

Really Not Bad For a First Try

For a first movie that was pretty good. Suggestions I have is perhaps some sound effects (try flashkit.com), at the end of the movie, offer an option to play from the choose who wins screen, and try using shadows or shading in your drawings, it will give the art a more refined feeling to it. Try playing with the colors more too, if you use darker colors, more shading, it gives the movie a more moody feel to it, more similar to diablo. Lastly, the music from the endings compared to the body of the movie didn't sit quite right, perhaps use more of a similar tune or continue the music through the selection screen. Hopefully this helps.

ok thanks for tips, about the shades-i really really suck at the shades,i'm working on it though, and it's darn hard to find the right music so i put in the ones i had found and did fit the most(i searched for like 3 hours, so don't say i didn't even try)

Rocked

First of all that was some funny shit. The perfect mix of randomness and nostalgia. Some of the graphics could have used a little boosting. Perhaps some prettier buttons and a couple of the added things could be changed. As far as the sprites go, if you save them as gifs and change the settings in flash and photoshop you'll come out with some cleaner edges. Other than that, the movie was great. Also nice way to use Evergreen Terrace at the end!

The buttons were whipped up in the last minute, i was in such a hurry to get done, they didn't come off looking very pretty admittingly. The sprites are saved as gifs but were not modified after that, if you could email me at rootedfallacies@aol.com with some info on how to clean up sprites in PhotoShop it's be really, really appreciative. Thanks for the great review!

We need more real flash artists

That was beautiful. Everything moved perfectly and flawlessly. The music set the mood correctly and gave the perfect transition between each scene. I being a web/graphic designer understand the hard work and effort that was put forth into this movie. Ecspecially with the likes of Swift3d, Bryce and the like. I applaud you, continue the wonderful work.

Loved it!

I enjoyed the different approach focusing on beauty rather thatn your typical fare. The only suggestion I'd add would be to change the shadows as the sun came up to give a little more of the feeling. Otherwise it was beautiful.
